Function of Pension Cell:
An indepdendent pensioner's Cell is working at GEPCO Hqr. Since 2002. Scrutinizes and finalizes the pension claims received and preparation of the pension books for payment to paying Centre. Fund transfer from main bank account of pension to the Pension Disbursing Centers. To keep proper liaison on the amounts receivable from other DISCOs and payment with reference to retired employees of the said DISCOs. Makes monthly recoupment of the sanctioned pension claims. To Readdress the grievances of the pensioners.

Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat Islamabad has established a grievance Cell for pensioner in Federal Ombudsman Secretariat, any person can approach Mr. Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar Senior Advisor (Law)/Registrar/Grievances Commissioner for overseas Pakistanis for settlement of their grievances in connection with pension.
